Most people who understand capital markets have never written a creative brief. Most brand strategists have never managed a securities trading operation. Most tech marketers were enthusiasts, not practitioners. Patrik Thorell is the exception — operating with genuine fluency at all three intersections.

Then NVIDIA changed everything. At MSI, Patrik was appointed the formal Nordic Partner Manager for both NVIDIA and Intel — the person those companies designated to manage co-marketing investment, align GTM strategy, and decide how their budgets were spent in the region. Most marketers ran campaigns that featured NVIDIA. Patrik was the person NVIDIA asked. The impact was documented: revenue grew 23% year-on-year, Nordic sell-out increased over 60%, and MSI Notebooks moved from fourth to market share leader. He carried that same partner-manager relationship directly into Fractal Design — and the outcomes followed: +110% brand recognition, +300% sell-out.
Today he holds a SwedSec Specialist License and sits on Swedbank's Equities Trading Desk — where his cross-functional work has contributed to a 25% increase in commission revenue between 2023 and 2025. In parallel, Thorell & Co continues to deliver senior leadership to clients who can't afford to hire wrong. Every engagement has a before and an after. The after is always measurable.
